Samantha Silva X Tomochin

After searching high and low and trying all sorts of keywords, I finally managed to find the new necklaces sold under Samantha Thavasa’s sub brand, Samantha Silva.

According to the official site, the small series is ‘Samantha Silva Itano Tomomi Collaboration Initial Necklace’ and has a total of 5 alphabets, A, M, R, S & T. There is no explanation as to why these few alphabets (probably coz more Japanese girls’ names start with those alphabets? Just guessing.)

I first saw this collaboration under Tomochin’s special page here on Samantha Thavasa’s official webpage. (Do check the page out if you have not seen it, I always find that ST does such an amazing job featuring tomochin)

Covergirl for KETCHUP

Earlier in January, tomochin made a trip to Hong Kong for the opening of Samantha Thavasa as a solo member. During her short one and a half day’s stay in Hong Kong, it was reported that she had a photoshoot and now, finally, the magazine is released! I am not too sure if tomochin is the first AKB member to grace the cover of a magazine outside Japan but this sure is good news to me.

Tomochin is the covergirl for KETCHUP magazine and it will be the first time that the magazine will have a double cover, meaning 2 different versions of covers will be available for sale. Not too impressed with the photographer for some of the shots but I absolutely adore the white cover and the one which tomochin was in a light purple flower embellished dress. Look forward to new Samantha Thavasa CM!

According to reliable source, aka tomochin’s own Google+ and twitter accounts, it seems that we can expect new Samantha Thavasa CMs featuring our queen tomo!  She posted what she ate yesterday and as always, tomochin is excited over all sorts of food, this time being sushi and rice powder crepe (?). Not only can we expect her as a Samantha muse in the TV commercial, she will most probably appear in a few pages posing for Samantha’s new collection in ViVi magazine.

For those who have yet to add tomochin to your Google+ account, please do so as she does not have that many people who added her in circles compared to many other senbatsu girls. And for those who have already added, remember to comment! Tomochin doesn’t get the full 500 comments as the picture shows all the time. Most of the time, it’s just 300ish after a full 24 hrs.

It’s interesting because the girls interact a lot on Google+ and recently for some unknown reasons, other girls in AKB has been expressing their oshi-love towards tomochin (I’ll have a post on that soon) and they are really cute. Aki-P interacts with the girls too and because it is such a convenient tool now to reach out to fans out of Japan, important announcements have been made on Google+ (including Sasshi’s debut.. discovery of a new song for tomochin’s 3rd single etc).

[ViVi] 2011 Mar Tomo Star Vol. 7 (Solo Debut Sp pt2)

The remaining 4 pages to Tomochin’s Solo Debut Sp in ViVi, a continuation from my last translation post some time ago. I left quite a bit of translation undone in the last page as there were quite a bit of text that I could not identify clearly and some of them were introducing the names of makeup artists or stylists which were a headache to me since I cannot recognise names well unless they are common family names. x_x

*I have merged page 3 & 4 together under translated03.jpg hence you will not find a translated04.jpg.
